Where Raj Panjabi’s nonprofit, Last Mile Health, operates in Liberia, people in remote communities hike for hours or even days — sometimes canoeing through the jungle or motorbiking over rough terrain — to get medical care.
This is a great idea to use TED and TEDx. We started our TEDxFSCJ Learning Adventures by doing a TEDx style event with speakers “PTK UpsilonEta – A TED inspired student event” and then “UofS Talks” at University of Scouting. This is more challenging as they have to compress their ideas to 5 minutes. I am sure these speaking experiences have a huge impact in our students.
